Press Release-Digital platform InfoDeseuri launches free license for municipalities

 

Bucharest, June 28, 2023

InfoDeseuri, the digital platform ( mobile app for IOS, Android and web-based ) for informing and raising awareness on efficient waste management, is pleased to announce the launch of the free license for City Halls. This initiative aims to provide a powerful and accessible tool for effective waste management and to strengthen communication with citizens.

Developed by the Sapiens ADN Association, in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests and with the support of GreenPoint Management, Ecotic, EcoticBat, Alucro and Every Can Count, InfoWaste is an innovative digital solution that meets the complex and ever-changing needs of local authorities and citizens for effective waste management.

Through the InfoWaste app, municipalities will have access to an intuitive platform that will help them to effectively inform and communicate in real time with their own citizens on all aspects of waste management in their community.

The functionalities of the application include:

 

  • real-time notifications for collection schedules,
  • calendar of collection days by all fractions,
  • guide for separate collection, waste preparation and delivery,
  • list of waste centers and collection points, by all fractions, providing state-of-the-art tools for communication and interaction with users.

Municipalities will thus optimize waste management operations by increasing the quantities of waste collected separately and correctly, decreasing the quantities sent for disposal by landfill, all contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

More than that, InfoWaste emphasizes effective, real-time and permanent communication between the City Hall and citizens.

Users will be able to report waste management problems in the community through the app. This creates a direct and transparent connection between the administration and the community, promoting the active involvement of citizens in protecting the environment.

The free InfoWaste for Municipalities license is available from July 1, 2023.
